Accessing Haiku
and Blogger
1. Go start.lths.org
2. Username: Last 6 digits of ID
Password:
porters12 or the password you created (must be at least 8 characters in length)
**If
this is your first time logging in, you will need to create a password that is
at least 8 characters in length. WRITE
THIS PASSWORD DOWN SO YOU DO NOT HAVE TO RESET IT LATER!**

3. In Google Apps, click Haiku LMS on the right.
4. Reading will be on the left under Classes. Click this to enter our virtual class.
FOR BLOGGER
5. Click Google Docs.
6. In the black row at the top, click the More drop
down menu and select Blogger.
7. Choose the Blogger Profile on the right.
8. Display Name: Your First name and Last name
initial (ex: Mike S.) and then click continue to Blogger.
9. Click Create New Blog. The TITLE should be your display name’s Reading
Blog (ex: Mike S’s Reading Blog). Your URL will be your first name, initial,
reading blog (ex: mikesreadingblog). You
may choose a template if you wish. Click
Create Blog.
10. Click Orange Create New Post Button.
11. Give your post a title and then begin
blogging! Click Publish at the top to
add your writing to your blog.
**IMPORTANT:
Whatever you post online will be there forever, even if you delete it. EVERYTHING in your blog needs to be SCHOOL
APPROPRIATE**
